Letters from Home

For the month of September, WCQR is partnering with Marsh Regional Blood Centers to send “Letters from Home”. We are asking you to help us send as many letters as possible to our American soldiers and let them know we love and appreciate them.

Print a letterhead below and write a encouraging letter to our soldiers. Once your letter is written, drop it off at one of our drop off locations below.  WCQR will send all the letters to “A Million Thanks” who will then get each letter in the hands of soldiers. These letters will go all over the world to men and women who are committed to defending this county.

Deadline for letters to be turned in to WCQR is September 30th 


  1. What to write in your letter:
  • Only include positive messages. Any negative messages will be discarded.
  • Be Creative: Draw Pictures, talk about you, let them know their service does not go unnoticed.
  • Be kind and uplifting: Our soldiers need to be encouraged. Be kind and use encouraging words to uplift them
  • Include your address or email address if you wish. Most military will write you back

  • DO NOT put your letter in an envelope. WCQR will be mailing all these together.
  • DO NOT include Glitter or Confetti or anything that is not securely attached to your letter

  • Tuesday, September 18th: Join WCQR at Chick Fil A – Peoples St. Johnson City- 4pm-7pm 
  • WCQR- 2312 Oak St- Gray, TN – Monday – Friday 8am-5pm
