Parks Stamper was born and raised right up I-81 in Saltville, Virginia.  She attended University of Tennessee in Knoxville where even they made fun of her southern accent. She says she knows God has a sense of humor because He blessed her with a career in radio, southern accent and all!  She has been married to her wonderful husband, Greg, for 33 years and they have one “child” with fur named, appropriately, Little Dog.  Parks has been on-air with WCQR for over 15 years and is so thankful to be here.
