88.3 WCQR Receives Award

Radio and Records recently asked its readers in the Christian Music Industry to choose the leaders in several different categories including the best radio stations and air shows.

88.3 WCQR was chosen as the Medium Market Radio Station of the Year.

General Manager Mike Perry said “what an honor when your peers look at the course of your work over the last year and approve of what you’ve done.”

WCQR has won similar station of the year awards from the Gospel Music Association in 2003 – 2004 - 2005.

Perry said “I’m really proud of our entire team at WCQR. The staff here works hard to make a difference in the lives of our listeners and it shows.”
