*The community calendar is limited to free, local events, with the exception of fund raisers. Please try to submit your information at least 2 weeks prior to your event.. Please do not type in all caps, and paragraph form is preferred. Please call WCQR at (888) 477-5676 with any questions.

Harmony FWB Back to School Bash

Harmony FWB in Hampton is hosting a Back to School Bash and every child will receive a back pack with suppplies. Lots of other fun activities and free food! For more information call 725-2562

Two Nights In July Kids NIGHT OUT

Calvary Church, 411 Main Street, Greeneville presents their Summer Outreach for kids and teens. Beginning at 630pm, games for all ages, at 7:30 a concert by "Eleventh Step" and at 9pm a Veggie Tales movie "The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything" for the kids and for the teens "To Save A Life" PG13 movie. Singing at the Shed

Austin Springs UMC, 726 Austin Springs Road, JOhnson City, will host "Singing at the Shed" everything from praise to southern gospel. Bring a lawn chair or blanket. 6pm-8pm. Ice Cream Social to follow. Suggested donation: non-perishable food item for ASUMC's Food Pantry. More information at 477-8328.

Belmont Baptist Student Ministry

Jonesborough Habitat for Humanity

You are invited to attend the Groundbreaking service for the Jonesborough Habitat Build at 11:00am. The building site is located at 791 Bacon Branch Road, Jonesborough, TN. Please look for the Holston Habitat for Humanity sign. This is a community build, which means several businesses and churches as well as individuals have partnered together to make this build possible. The service will be held rain or shine.
